Kraków BeerWeek is the largest craft beer festival in the Małopolska region and one of the most popular summer events on the Kraków calendar. The festival is held at the Cracovia Stadium on al. 3 Maja, within easy walking distance of the Old Town.

Note on 2027 dates: BeerWeek typically takes place in June, with the 2026 edition at the Cracovia Stadium in mid-June. The 2027 dates have not yet been officially announced - check inyourpocket.com/krakow for confirmation when published. The dates above are estimated based on the pattern from recent editions.

What the festival offers

BeerWeek brings together over 100 Polish and international craft breweries for four days of tastings, panel discussions, food pairings, and outdoor concerts. The format is entrance-plus-token: attendees buy a wristband at the gate which covers entry and includes a tasting glass, and then use tokens to pay for individual pours at brewery stalls.

The range of beers spans the full craft spectrum: IPAs, sours, stouts, lagers, wheat beers, and experimental styles from small Polish microbreweries alongside imports from Germany, the Czech Republic, Belgium, and further afield. Several breweries use the festival to launch new seasonal releases.

Food stalls provide a range of street food and restaurant pop-ups - burgers, local sausages, cheese boards, and international cuisines - designed to complement the beer programme. A music stage runs afternoon and evening concerts each day.

Tickets and logistics

Entrance wristbands can be purchased in advance online (cheaper) or at the gate. Early-bird tickets from previous editions started around 30–40 PLN; gate prices were higher. A tasting set typically includes the entry glass plus a set of tokens for several free pours.

The Cracovia Stadium is on al. 3 Maja, roughly a 10-minute walk southwest of the Rynek Główny. Trams 15 and 18 stop nearby. The festival is outdoors, so dress for variable June weather - Kraków can be hot and sunny or overcast and rainy in mid-June.

The festival runs from mid-afternoon to late evening each day, with the busiest sessions on Friday and Saturday evenings. Arriving early on weekday sessions avoids queues at the most popular brewery stalls.

Wrocław alternative

If you are visiting Wrocław rather than Kraków in summer, the city hosts its own dedicated event - see our Wrocław Good Beer Festival guide. Both festivals run in the same general period and between them they represent the twin centres of Poland’s growing craft beer scene.
