Key Numbers

With 12 new routes added to its existing 34, Ryanair will operate 46 routes from Warsaw’s two airports in Winter 2026–27, with an annual traffic target of 4 million passengers. The basing of two additional Boeing 737s at Modlin represents a stated investment of $200 million in the Polish market, supporting more than 2,500 local jobs including 240 pilot and cabin crew positions.

What It Means for Travellers

The expansion significantly improves Warsaw’s direct connectivity to southern Italy — currently underserved relative to demand — and to Ireland, which previously had limited nonstop options from Poland. For visitors flying into Warsaw from Italy or the UK, the Winter timetable also opens up affordable return legs without backtracking through a hub.

Passengers already planning autumn or winter visits to Poland will be able to book these routes from summer 2026. We recommend checking the Ryanair website for launch dates and sale fares, which typically go on sale several months in advance.
